Using image models in Workspace now feels more continuous. Your prompts, reference images, and results stay together in one conversation, so you can start another generation, edit an earlier request, or retry a result without starting over.

Image Image Enlarger is now available in Workspace. It uses the AI Image Upscaler workflow with the same image modes, output sizes, controls, and batch processing, with sign-in required.

Unpixelate Unpixelate Image is now available. Smooth pixel blocks and jagged edges while preserving the original subjects, composition, text, logos, and natural detail. Ambiguous areas stay conservative instead of being invented.

HD Image Converter is now available. It selectively repairs blur, pixelation, jagged edges, compression artifacts, noise, banding, and poor resampling, then produces a clean HD result while preserving faces, text, logos, composition, and visual style.

Image Sharpener is now available. Restore slight defocus, camera shake, and motion blur while preserving intentional background blur, faces, text, logos, and original detail. When information is missing, the tool stays conservative instead of inventing content.

Image Enhancer is now available. Upload an image to improve clarity and reduce noise and compression artifacts while preserving the original scene. Choose 1K, 2K, or 4K; paid users can also enable high-quality mode.

Meet Remove Text from Image. Upload an image to remove visible text, including captions, labels, and timestamps. AI fills in the areas behind the text using the surrounding colors and textures, helping the rest of the scene stay consistent. No manual brushing is needed.

Meet AI Shadow Remover. Upload a photo to reduce unwanted shadows on products, portraits, and everyday shots. AI reconstructs the affected areas while aiming to preserve the original colors, textures, and details. No manual selection is needed.

Batch mode is back! You can now manage multiple batch workspaces and edit and regenerate individual images within each batch.

The new History page makes it easy to find your previous images, keep editing, and pick up where you left off.

Images on paid plans are now kept for 180 days, giving you more time to revisit your work, download your images, or keep editing.

Meet GPT Image 2.5. Generate images from a text prompt or upload reference images to guide your edits. Choose your aspect ratio and output resolution, all within the workspace.

AI Image Upscaler now supports five scene modes: General, Portrait, Product, Text, and Art. Choose the mode that suits your image, set a target size or scale factor, and adjust detail strength in supported modes for more control over your results.
